Our story
A genuine Kentish local
The Maypole Inn sits right in the heart of Borden Village, a short hop from Sittingbourne. It’s the kind of place where the welcome is warm, the fire is lit, and there’s always a friendly face behind the bar.
We cook everything in-house, daily — honest, generous pub food made from scratch. Our Sunday roasts have become something of a local legend, and our garden is the place to be when the Kent sun makes an appearance.
Families are welcome, dogs are welcome in the bar and garden, and whether you’re here for a quiet pint or a full celebration, you’ll always be looked after.
